The Cottesloe Physiotherapy Centre History
The Practice began in the Neolithic age… ok a slight exaggeration. Peter Diamond Began the practice in 1963 after arriving from New Zealand a year before. It was one of only 3 or 4 private practices in Perth at the time.
“Almost 50 years of history”
Known simply as Peter Diamond’s Physiotherapy Practice, it resided in various locations in and around Cottesloe & Mosman Park, most notably in the old RSL Hall. He finally moved to our current location in 1987 where he was joined by his son Greg in 1989. Sadly in 1990 he was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed away in 1991 leaving Greg with the practice and a legacy of almost 30 years of great physio.
We are now known as Cottesloe Physiotherapy Centre and have 8 practitioners providing a range of services from general physio to chronic pain management, pilates, podiatry and remedial massage.
With almost 50 years of history and by maintaining our dynamic growth & development through the latest research and trends, Cottesloe Physio has seen off many competitors. With our philosophy of care, compassion and a commitment to quality service with us you know you are in good hands. Your body is our business.
It’s taken 20 years but we have finally had reception make-over!
