If you are feeling a little under the weather try this Immune Boosting Soup, its chock full of nutritious goodness.
1 Whole organic free range chicken
1 celery stalk chopped
1 large leek sliced
1 large carrot chopped
1 onion chopped
1 bay leaf
2 sprigs thyme
½ teaspoon whole black peppercorns
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 bunch kale chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric
6 garlic cloves crushed
Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan and cover with cold filtered water (make sure the chicken is completely covered) Bring to the boil then lower the heat and simmer for 2 hours until the chicken is cooked (the legs should pull apart). Take out the chicken and strip the meat from the bones and put back in the soup. You can also save the bones to make a delicious batch of stock.
Serve this Immune Boosting Soup with crusty bread and lots of TLC
