Positive Affirmations

Imagine a friend telling you that you’re not good enough, you’re too fat, too stupid, etc. etc. Would you really be friends with that person?

Unfortunately this is what most of us do to ourselves every single day so it’s really no wonder that our self-esteem is at rock bottom. You are what you believe yourself to be so if you believe that you will never lose that extra weight that you are carrying you probably never will.

What if every morning you told yourself only good things, how different would your day be?

It will seem very strange at first and you may want to do this when you’re alone!

Find a mirror, look yourself square in the eyes and take a deep breath then tell yourself a positive affirmation.

It could be:

  • I am loved
  • I am worthy
  • I love, accept and approve of myself as I am in this moment right now

Do this every single day and pretty soon you will start to believe it.

This is a great way to start any day because you are starting off on a positive footing so hopefully this will continue throughout your day.

Another positive thing to do is start a grateful journal and every evening write down 10 things you are grateful for in your life. This is a perfect way to end the day J
